In depth

Verdict

San Cassiano has been in better form of late and has won over course and distance off a higher mark. But he tends to race prominently and may face a battle for the lead with recent Carlisle runner-up Corton Lad. There is no reason why recent track and trip second Primogeniture won't be thereabouts again but Roayh is hard to predict and Cooper may be a little out of his comfort zone. CADEAU MAGNIFIQUE (NAP) has been quite highly tried since winning at Nottingham in May but he's acquitted himself well enough and returning to a longer trip can see him back in the winner's enclosure after his fourth at Ascot.
