This is wide-open so the selection, Fizzlephut, cannot be given with great confidence, while others to consider include High Voltage, Hidden Dragon, Ellens Academy, Rainbow Rising, Steel Blue and Flying Bantam. The lightly-raced Fizzlephut might have won but for meeting trouble last time and has to be considered racing from the same mark today. High Voltage is now back to below a winning mark and can be given claims on going he handles. Hidden Dragon has lost the winning habit but can't be ruled out from his current mark. Zomerlust needs a career best to score, as does Ellens Academy but she is on a mark from which she has gone well in the past and soft going will be no problem. The lightly-raced Rainbow Rising is worth a mention, but Inter Vision might be held at present, and a six-pounds penalty for a course and distance win makes life a little trickier for Raymond's Pride. Steel Blue is now well-weighted based on his course and distance win of last May, and Flying Bantam is on the mark from which he won at Pontefract in May on soft going. Armagnac is another that is back to a winning mark, while, finally, Trojan Flight wins in his turn and Artie was disappointing when better was expected on his favoured soft going three days ago, so it will be interesting to see what happens today. Overall, though, the narrow verdict lies with Fizzlephut.
