A Class 6 handicap of 20 declared for novice amateur riders is hardly the ideal getting-out stakes at the end of an eight-race programme. So let's go for a romantic ending and hope that Jim Goldie's lovely veteran DHAULAR DHAR can pay a first visit to the winner's circle since October 2011. He's returned in decent form this term with a couple of respectable minor placings and can go close off a mark of 61 compared to a rating in the high 80s in his pomp. Boy The Bell and Rio Cobolo finished one-two in a similar contest last time and that should stand them in good stead here. There is little between them at the revised weights whilst Cross The Boss has shown enough this term for the O'Meara team to rate a threat. You never know what you're going to get with Lady Del Sol but she could be interesting on her first attempt at a mile if on a going day.
