In depth

Verdict

WOOTTON’SUN returned to action with a good effort in Class 2 company at Pontefract and drops down in class with every chance in an open affair. Eeetee is another with claims back at this level having won at Haydock two runs ago while Strawman won last year’s renewal off a higher mark and is another to consider. The unexposed Dukeman makes his handicap debut having been gelded since last season while Daheer went close on the all-weather last time and is preferred to Very Excellent.
