James Fanshawe's stable is in terrific form but it took Knight Owl nine attempts to get off the mark and he races off a 6lb higher mark here in better company. Cono Zur's winning run came to an abrupt end at Ayr, though he has won off a higher mark in the past and Broctune Papa Gio loves it here and shouldn't be underestimated. KIWI BAY won the final of this in 2011 off a 7lb higher mark and Connor Beasley's claim takes of a further 5lb. He's won four times over track and trip and was only beaten a neck here two weeks ago so has to be the selection.
