      Verdict

      Cruyff Turn won this in 2021 and, though not in the best of form, he's been racing in better company and has been given a chance by the assessor. Alethiometer gained a convincing victory in a Class 5 handicap at Ayr but is up 6lb in this higher-grade contest. AZANO (NAP) hasn't won since landing a course and distance handicap off exactly the same mark last July. Placed in Listed company at York last time, he can get back on the winning trail. Hickory's two victories have been at Kempton but he made a winning debut on good to soft at Yarmouth so the ground shouldn't be a problem. Woven's recent Doncaster success was over 6f on soft going but Gioia Cieca was only caught close home over this trip at Musselburgh.
