      Verdict

      OUT FROM UNDER was first past the post at Ffos Las last month but hung in the closing stages and lost the race in the stewards’ room. Compensation could be forthcoming here though Vintage Choice looks a big danger having finished third in a valuable maiden at York on debut. However, an extra furlong probably wouldn’t come amiss with a similar comment applying to Haydock fourth Puntastic. Backstage may be the pick of the newcomers with her fillies’ allowance.
