Verdict

GALILAEUS has a 6lb penalty for a comfortable success at Bath last week and, though tackling the trip for the first time, looks progressive enough to go in again. Michael's Pledge had his first attempt at this trip at Wetherby and was only beaten a length while Edwina Sheeran made just about all over 1m4f at Beverley and battled on gamely. The latter had been beaten a length by A Day To Dream at Thirsk earlier but the winner then ran moderately at Newcastle.
