Verdict

The progressive Zamjar needs to show further progress raised 6lb for his latest success at Chelmsford while Merry Banter is upped in class off a 6lb higher mark having scored at Catterick last week. Erissimus Maximus ran well in this grade at Newmarket last time and is preferred to both Justanotherbottle and the returning Batten The Hatches but CONFESSIONAL (NAP) makes most appeal. The latter has been competing in Class 2 sprints and, having gone close off higher marks on several occasions, Tim Easterby’s veteran looks capable of coming out best at this lower level.
