Stanarley Pic should probably have done better recently at Musselburgh, where he finished behind Sheriff Garrett, who looks as though he may prefer a longer trip. Midnight Warrior is a course specialist but this may be too competitive nowadays. A few of these have seen action on the all-weather lately with WAITING FOR RICHIE possibly faring best when scoring over 2m at Newcastle. It might be tough to replicate his forcing tactics on this easier surface but he should again beat the three-year-old Montanna and is also preferred to Wolverhampton scorer Deep Challenger.
