Kent-based handler John Best doesn't waste journeys so the fact that he's sent the maiden MARPHILLY here is a pointer. This will be her first run on Turf so it's not inconceivable that she'll show enough improvement to beat a moderate bunch. Trinity Star couldn't handle Sheriff Of Nawton here last time but the winner runs earlier and should provide a pointer but Ronya was beaten in a seller at Ripon. Vosne Romanee ran well at Newcastle and was then well handicapped on the Fibresand at Southwell but didn't appear to handle the surface. He's not so well in here nor is Hello Sweetness, who is up 9lb despite being beaten in a seller last time. Mister Uno looks the main threat as he was well supported when just touched off by Jazri at Warwick.
