Verdict

With the Godolphin runners in such hot form we will side with Step In Line here ahead of the well exposed Cassiara and First Valentini. As you would expect the selection boasts a top class pedigree being by Giants Causeway out of a Quiet American mare. The market will be an obvious guide, but we will take a chance on his fitness and give him a tentative vote. Cassiara has earned a rating of 78 with some excellent placed efforts this season and looks an absolute banker for some more prize money. Meanwhile First Valentini has been running well in lesser company and will need to find a bit extra from somewhere. The rest make little appeal and so in what could turn out to be a two horse war Step In Line is just preferred.
