In depth

Verdict

Vindobala gained a deserved victory in a Class 6 handicap over the track and trip last month and, though that was on fast going, she's run well on soft here in the past. Kylie Rules is a specialist at Beverley but she's won from higher marks and won't mind some cut in the ground. David Barron is in good form and Willing To Please should be winning soon from this sort of mark while Exhalation has made great strides at Newcastle and would be an obvious threat if carrying that form over to Turf. The beautifully-bred PETALITE makes her handicap debut after three all-weather runs and could be good enough with Hollie Doyle on board as Key Luck will need to step up again after landing a Class 6 Thirsk handicap over 7f on fast ground.
