A horrible race from a betting perspective can go to Airedale Lad, who is selected over Satin Rose and Awaken. It can also pay to keep an eye on the activities surrounding Bargain Hunt, as he holds fair prospects for a place in the frame in this company. However, he does not seem to know what to do when he hits the front and is a risky option for win only purposes. Awaken has experience of the track and has fared well in better company of late. She is no world beater but will be the toast of Tracy Waggot's yard if she can deliver on a couple of promising efforts. She is one to bear in mind in this sort of grade. The same has to be said of Satin Rose, who has at least won a race this season. However, that was even weaker than this and she is not one to take a short price about. There may be better value to be had with a small investment on Airedale Lad, who has been banging on the door lately. Richard Whittaker has his string in good order and this lightly raced son of Charnwood Forest make the most appeal for a bet in race where nothing really stands out as a reliable option.
