        Verdict

        Bill Cody found one too good over a shorter trip at Newcastle last time but Calliope disappointed at Carlisle having won over 1m4f at Catterick earlier. Urban Spirit and So Near So Farhh were both placed over 2m on their respective latest starts but HERNANDES gets the vote. He’s been competing in higher grade races and a repeat of last month’s fourth over today’s trip at Sandown can see Ian Williams’ charge successful in this company.
