Verdict

Ribchester's half-brother GOLCONDO PRINCE had just three maiden runs in his first season and showed enough to suggest he'd do better in his second campaign so starting out in handicaps off 64 could prove lenient. Heir of Excitement won a maiden at Ayr in July and will be better for a run at Wolverhampton last month but Geophony ran poorly in two nurseries after a Musselburgh maiden success. Lucy's Law had run better than her finishing positions suggested before taking a Newcastle maiden in September and she should be placed to good effect this campaign. The lightly-raced pair Iron Islands and Vintage Dream are potential improvers in a tricky contest.
