In depth

Verdict

Greek Secret has won a race at this track before but not for three years but is respected on the pick of his runs having won at Yarmouth already this year. Dream Express put in an improved effort to finish as runner-up at Thirsk but this was against a horse that had never won before. Both of those mentioned finished behind Forzarzi when they all lost out to Clerical at this track towards the end of July. However our attention turns to two who won last time out. The vote is given to DIVERTIMENTI trained by Roy Bowring. He made all last time out and with a similar effort here that could be enough to take the race. The form hasn't been franked by the other contenders after that win but neither has the effort of Yungaburra who was also victorious last time out. Divertimenti gets the nod.
