Brian Sprout will be looking for a debut win, whilst MICA MIKA is hoping a step up in trip will assist and Hayley Cropper from the Dandy Nicholls yard will be hopeful of performing better against relatively weak opposition. Mica Mika has stayed on well over 6f but has been a little outpaced in his last three runs. With an extra furlong there is scope for improvement and we tentatively give the nod to the Richard Fahey colt. Brian Sprout makes an appearance for the first time and the statistics show that John Weymes has not turned out a two-year-old winner at Redcar in recent seasons, so we oppose him on this occasion. Hayley Cropper may come on for a run over course and distance earlier this month and she may pose the main danger to our selection. Our vote goes to Mica Mika to develop and grab a win today.
