Easy to get tied in knots with all the collateral form on offer but KIWI BAY gets the tentative vote to win this race for the third time in a row. He won a qualifier for today's final over C&D in June when the going was soft and can bounce back after a below-par effort behind Jo'Burg last time. The latter scored over track and trip last month with Rio Grande in second and a number of these further behind including Ingleby Exceed. David O'Meara's charge took his turn to win over C&D in August beating Hakuna Matata and subsequent winner Dolphin Rock but would prefer faster going. Away from those convuluted form lines, King Of Paradise should give a good account.
