Icenaslice has hit form with a vengeance and can continue her winning ways at the expense of Maluti and Short Chorus. The selection who had disappointed on the all-weather on her previous start, followed up her easy Thirsk win off an 11lb higher mark. She clearly acts well on soft ground and although that race didn't take that much winning she is on the upgrade. Maluti landed his first victory when out-pointing the good yardstick Yorkie at Brighton last time and must figure in the finish. Meanwhile Short Chorus also hit a winning note at Hamilton in May beating Desert Light in a driving finish, she is still on a handy mark and looks set for a place at least. In a very competitive heat Island Spell should also be in the firing line, but Icenaslice looks the most progressive of these and is taken to oblige.
