ORBAAN was running well at the backend of last season without reaping the rewards and has dropped to a winnable mark. The lightly-raced Bowland Park completed a double on ground with give last summer while Copper And Five battled to a short-head victory on fast going here in September. The latter had subsequent track and trip winner Delgrey Boy half-a-length back in third that day but Tim Easterby's charge has the better of the weights this time. Having scored at Doncaster in November, Broken Spear ran a cracking race in the Lincoln last weekend and has to be a threat while Il Bandito is a very consistent performer.
