Verdict

MAC AILEY had Camile and Zealous well beaten when just failing to hold My Ukelele over slightly shorter at Hamilton and is better suited by this trip so gets the nod. Paddyplex was in decent form on Tapeta last winter and was having his first start since March when making his debut for Keith Dalgleish at Ayr in August. His former trainer runs Dutch Coed here and he suffered in the weights after scoring four times last summer. He looked on the way back at Hamilton last time and should make a bold bid. Uther Pendragon scored on fast ground at Bath in June and has been looking a couple of pounds high but Blistering Barney ran his best race to date on soft ground at Ripon and has more scope than most.
