Verdict

Enfranchise can figure again and stablemate Fairmac also has a shout on a recent placed effort at Ripon. Jean Baptiste went close at Newcastle having slipped down the weights while King's Commander is upped in distance on his return to action and handicap debut having won at Thirsk last summer. But THUNDERCLAP will be sharper for last month’s reappearance over 1m4f and having won easily over today’s trip at Pontefract last season, Hughie Morrison’s charge gets the vote.
