High Contrast was well supported on his comeback at Pontefract but appeared to find the fast ground against him. MIDNIGHT IN HAVANA (NAP) was a 25/1 on his reappearance at Newcastle which isn't a surprise as he showed little last term. However, he got within a length of the winner over 7f and with the extra in his favour he can take this. Roger Fell has a couple of chances with Kodi Dream and Geography Teacher with preference for the former, though he was behind the selection at Newcastle before beaten a neck in a course and distance handicap. Firsteen has only ever run at Newcastle and has never been over this trip but she's getting closer and could prove a threat if taking to Turf. Angel Sarah has a nice pedigree and could leave last season's form behind over this more suitable trip so she's one to note in the market.
