In depth

Verdict

One Kool Dude never figured in a nursery at York last time. He has to give weight away on today's terms to the likes of Rougini, whose earlier placed efforts in maidens give her a chance. Koolgreycat is inconsistent, but could figure with one of his better efforts, though a chance is taken on the newcomer ANNIE BEACH. She's related to three winners and David Barron boasts a good strike rate with his two-year-olds at this track. Jockey bookings suggest Wood Nymph is preferred to stablemate Indyend, while Taffe is another to note on his debut.
