Connaught Manor has proved very disappointing over timber after making a winning debut in a Roscommon bumper. Fergiethelegend won twice between the flags and didn't do much wrong when making his hurdling debut here in May while Jupitor has shown enough in bumpers to suggest he can do well over timber, especially as he's bred for the job. Ravensbury won a Listowel bumper last September but hasn't been seen for a year so this could be fought out by Troubled and SHATTERED DREAM, who are in the same ownership. They met at Naas last Sunday when the former started odds-on but ran a shocker, finishing a long way behind Gordon Elliott's charge in fourth place. While progress will be needed here, the four-year-old looks likely to do much better and he's given the nod in a tricky contest.
