This looks a very tough handicap and though the four-year-old Authinger is at the right end of the weight this is his first venture outside of his own age group. Bachelor Affair has shot up the weights which is hardly surprising given that he's won three times in the past year including on quick ground. The consistent Esporao is another who will take to the conditions and he warmed up for this by dead-heating at Ludlow. He's another who has climbed the weights while Golanbrook may find this too short. Eagle's Pass has been going well over fences and can race off a much lower mark over timber while Akinspirit has been going well on the Flat at Dundalk as has Shake The Bucket. In A Nutshell has to be given a chance after a good run at Limerick but DELPHI MOUNTAIN is handed the vote in a wide-open event as there was plenty to like about his run at Limerick last time and he has a touch of quality.
