It's not often Willie Mullins runs two in a race and both pulled up when last seen. Yet that's the case here. However, LORD ROYAL has contested pretty hot chases in six starts over larger obstacles and could well relish dropping back into ordinary beginners chase company. He's had a good break since Christmas, is the choice of Paul Townend and is well worth another chance. Stable companion Five O'Clock has disappointed this year on both starts after a two-year absence and is best watched for now on what is his chasing debut. Things didn't go Tullybeg's way on either of two previous fencing runs but he's a good hurdler and a danger along with Everglow.
