In depth

Verdict

GAELIC WARRIOR won his first three starts over timber before an excellent run in the Ballymore at Cheltenham when second to stablemate Impaire Et Passe, form that would be good enough for this. Affordable Fury also ran a cracking race at The Festival being beaten just a length in the Albert Bartlett over this trip, when Embassy Gardens pulled up, so he should be thereabouts. Favori De Champdou was also pulled up in the latter event having pulled too hard but he'd looked a very progressive type in his previous races. His stable companion Salvador Ziggy couldn't get close to Good Time Jonny in the Pertemps Final at Cheltenham but ran a fine race and should get into contention.
