In depth

Verdict

Willie Mullins has three entered and the presence of Ruby Walsh on SOUS LES CIEUX looks significant. Already a winner at Grade 1 level, he hasn't quite progressed as expected but was impeded early in the Neptune Investments at Cheltenham before finishing well over that 2m5f trip. Today's 3m should bring out the best in him and he gets the vote though there are plenty of dangers. Ipsos Du Berlais is certainly one of them as he looked a nice prospect when scoring here in January and wasn't disgraced in the Sefton Novices' Hurdle at Aintree. Sea Of Thunder was the unlucky loser of a Grade 2 at Cheltenham in December and, though running moderately since, it would be no surprise to see him bounce back.
