Doctor Brown Bear made a promising debut at Killarney and improved on that effort at Fairyhouse where he was always up with the pace. Doctor Churchill wasn't beaten far in that latter event but ran poorly here last weekend when behind fifth-placed Init Together, who was badly impeded when staying on. Justification was beaten a long way at Down Royal while Loughisle Lady has been pulling much too hard and making mistakes. Ben Siegal improved massively on the Flat during the summer, winning two of his last four and going up 23lb in the process. Capri's full-brother BRAZIL scored as a two-year-old for Aidan O'Brien and is still rated 85 despite having had just six runs so he gets a tentative vote to make a winning start. Gentleman Joe scored over a mile at Kempton in March and was placed at Listed level at Goodwood in May though beaten a long way. Prairie Dancer scored twice at Roscommon in the summer and along with Rebel Step is an interesting newcomer.
