Verdict

This looks an intriguing contest with Baily Green chasing a six-timer and attempting to concede weight to some promising rivals. Mouse Morris' charge has jumped superbly to win his last four starts over the bigger obstacles and had the pace to score over hurdles at Killarney last month. He could hardly have won a Grade 3 more easily last time but the penalty gives him plenty to do against PROTARAS and Special Tiara. The former gets the nod as he looked a real natural when beating what looked a decent field at Gowran last time though Special Tiara could prove something special as he beat that useful yardstick Plan A on his chasing bow at Ballinrobe last month.
