Verdict
Noel Meade and Nina Carberry took this a year ago with one making his debut and this year's entry, Outlaws Tunes, has had the advantage of a run between the flags, where he could hardly have been more convincing. He'll be hard to beat if fit after his lay-off though the fast ground may not be ideal and TURF FIRE may be too quick for him. Dermot Weld's Singspiel gelding is out of a mare who won between 5f and a mile so he may just have too much basic speed for his rival. Illtakeitfromhere is out of a mare who won over 1m4f in France while O Lucky Them has a pedigree that points to jumping. Flaming Dawn was well supported on his point-to-point debut and was in touch when a bad mistake put paid to his chances.
