Bumper winner COLONEL MUSTARD was no match for subsequent Grade 1 winner Ballyadam in a maiden hurdle at Down Royal but finished a long way clear of the rest in second. He looks to have every chance on that form while Lifetime Ambition drops back down in trip after disappointing last time having earlier gone close at Navan where Frere Tuck struggled. The latter is fitted with a tongue-tie today while better is also expected of Inviction. Hurricane Cliff ran too free at Leopardstown on Boxing Day but finished runner-up at Cork before that and represents last year’s winning yard.
