Gavin Cromwell has his horses in fine shape and Global Racing contributed to his recent tally with an impressive performance at Downpatrick, though he's been raised 13lb. The stable also run Biddy The Boss, who has disappointed in handicaps after scoring at Down Royal in March. Riviera Sun had dropped to his lowest mark for a very long time when scoring at Kilbeggan though is back up 7lb but Fruits Of Glory looked like winning at Sligo where a mistake at the last stopped him in his tracks. Charles Byrnes has had a few recent winners and this could be the day SHANPALLAS finally gets back on the winning trail. He's 19lb lower than over hurdles and can reward each-way support. Graineyhill could provide the main threat as he was in the lead when falling at the last at Gowran, though could have done without a 3lb rise.
