Carrig Carol has continued to run well after her Fairyhouse victory but she'll be racing from a 12lb higher mark. She had Vera Verto behind at Limerick last time and should confirm the form while Getaway Goldie pulled up in the same race. Lizlucky, a winner on testing ground at Clonmel in October, will be more at home here after well beaten in a Listed contest on this track last time. BIRDIE BLITZ won a Ballinrobe handicap in May and made an encouraging comeback here in November. She prefers further but stamina will come into play in these conditions and her rider's claim is a massive plus. Thurles winner Light Parade is another with obvious chances in what looks a competitive handicap.
