Dromnea scored twice at the turn of the year before stepping up in class and performing with credit here and at Cheltenham. He should do well this campaign though the concession of 2lb to GUITAR PETE (NAP) could prove too much for him. Sandra Hughes' youngster, a dual Grade 1 winner over hurdles, has won just once in four starts over fences but his close second to Shadow Catcher at Cork last time suggests he's going the right way and can double his tally. The Doorman made a successful debut over fences at Thurles a year ago then ran well in a couple of handicaps before unseating his rider at the first at Down Royal on his return to action. He looks the type to improve his current mark and can get into the frame. Rossvos has so far failed to improve on his impressive victory at Naas in March but shouldn't be written off.
