Jim Bowie looked a nice prospect when landing a bumper and a maiden hurdle in March and though he has shown nothing in handicaps he is surely better than we have seen so far. Kaiser So Say was having his first start for Andrew Heffernan when storming away with a novice hurdle at Downpatrick in August and there looks more to come. Kayanna's Back attracted some support before making all for a facile victory at Clonmel but that was a moderate contest and the handicapper appears to have overreacted with a 16lbs rise. The Shepherd has been running well though he couldn't justify favouritism when only third behind Macville at Tipperary and a chance is taken here with FEAST OR FAMINE, who fell when in with every chance in the race won by Elyaadi at Listowel when Macville was runner-up.
