One Cool Shabra just failed to make all in a Grade 2 at Leopardstown on Boxing Day and appears to have the beating of Burrenbridge Lad on that run. Chill beat Discoteca by more than two lengths in first-time blinkers at the same track the following day when subsequent Naas runner-up Hisaabaat unseated his rider. But that was a first run over hurdles for Gordon Elliott's charge and the placings could easily be reversed today. UT DE SIVOLA was backed as though defeat was out of the question on his hurdling debut at Clonmel and duly obliged. On a line through runner-up Bat Masterson, he appears to have the beating of One Cool Shabra and should follow up in this better grade.
