Gliondar Mo Chroi won around here in January last year but hasn't run since March of that year while the other course and distance winner Spancil Hill hasn't been seen since March of this year. Fighting Fit was a progressive type when last seen in January and might have won but for falling two out at Clonmel while War Eagle runs the occasional good race on the Flat and over timber though is hard to catch right. CASAMARI ABBEY showed a bit of improvement here last month then went to Clonmel and landed a minor handicap. He won't mind the ground and a 5lb rise doesn't look excessive. Seven-times winner Fleurys Fort found 2m too short at Tramore after scoring over this trip there and has won from higher marks.
