Verdict

Bellaney Lord couldn't quite hold Champ Kiely at Limerick in May but that's the best form of those with experience. The winner's yard is represented by James's Gate, who is bred for stamina, while Gordon Elliott is represented by BLACKWATER, a half-brother to seven winners including several bumpers. Fruit Hill is a half-brother to a couple of winning bumpers while Monrocher has a fine pedigree and is one to note in the market. The latter remark also applies to Secret Artist, who was returning from a two-year break at Navan last month.
