In depth

Verdict

Subset won over the banks course at the Festival here in April and is on a very lowly mark. His stablemate Alpha Male won a 2m5f handicap here last May but hasn't been in the best of form subsequently. The Eye Of Tulla's impressive victory at Limerick was over 2m1f and he's 8lb higher. He finished a long way behind Menindee when David Christie's mare scored over the track and trip in October and the winner is greatly respected but in the hope the going doesn't quicken up OCEAN LEGACY (NAP), the winner of two of his last three over fences, looks the one to beat after a comfortable victory at Downpatrick.
