Verdict

Gordon Elliott has sent out three of the last four winners and Cats For Cash is preferred to stablemate Yendo having been beaten less than a length at Fairyhouse last month. But Noel Meade trained the third on that occasion and should have a good line on the chances of BATTLE OF MIDWAY in this. The latter also went close at Fairyhouse on his first start under Rules and looked the likely winner until faltering in the final strides. He gets the vote with improvement likely. Cavalry Master shares ownership with the selection and the newcomer cost E92,000 while Reasonable Doubt and Robin Des Sivola are both point-to-point winners making their racecourse debuts.
