OSCAR SAM (NAP) has plenty going for him as he enjoys testing ground, this trip and big fields. He's up 6lb from his Clonmel victory but is taken to complete a double. Holeinthewall Bar was in fine form over timber in the autumn before running over fences at Clonmel. He's better handicapped over the bigger obstacles but is still likely to give a good account. He scored at Limerick a month ago when useful chaser Letter Of Credit was behind and unable to take advantage of a very lenient handicap mark compared to his rating over fences. All Summer Long produced easily her best run over timber at Gowran last month though that was over the minimum trip and she hasn't proved she stays this far, a remark that also applies to the novice Balkinstown.
