The progressive Steele's Rock has been transformed by quicker ground but a 10lb rise for his latest success at Gowran may prove excessive. Captain Paulie has never raced beyond two miles in 11 career starts and he's another with a weight rise to contend with but both trip and going appear ideal for Model County Lass, who acts on any going and was only caught in the closing stages over three miles at Wexford last time. Accordion To Paddy ran a cracking race at Navan in March and should go well though he's unproven on ground this quick so it's MEMORIES OF MILAN who gets the vote on his handicap debut. John Queally's charge gained a hard-fought success in a Clonmel maiden last month but looked a very progressive type in the process and doesn't look overburdened in the weights.
