REGAL MIRAGE has been expertly placed to complete a hat-trick over shorter and certainly wasn't stopping over 1m3f at Hamilton. He's 8lb higher but looks to have more to offer and can complete a four-timer. Avenue Des Champs was returning from a very long break when landing a Yarmouth handicap and though that was over 1m6f he's won over this trip. Liquid Gold hasn't been beaten far in maidens and makes her handicap debut but Thorntoun Care generally performs at a lower level. New Society didn't look like catching Breakwater Bay here earlier this month when Cornerstone Lad was staying on behind and both need to improve.
