In depth

Verdict

Statoyork has found a rich vein of form and has run well in defeat since landing an Bath apprentice handicap under today's rider earlier in the month. The veteran has been raised 8lb but has a good draw and should give another good account. William's Well is another with a handy low berth and is on a fair mark at present while recent winners Off Hire and Flying Faisal both have to be considered in an open finale.
