Verdict

Perpetually will have needed the run at Newmarket and is gradually dropping down the ratings. He isn't out of this, despite top weight, while Beverley specialist Leader Of The Land will be all the better for his fourth at Haydock. GEORGE ADAMSON is probably still on a decent mark however, despite having been raised 6lb for his Thirsk success, as he looks a progressive individual. He looks a better bet than the upped-in-class Hong Kong Island and The Lock Master, who has never won on turf, while Speed Dating has proved disappointing on the Flat and over hurdles and Fantino returns from a lay-off.
