      Verdict

      CORINTHIA KNIGHT completed a track and trip double when landing this last year and has subsequently gained his fourth success here. The fact that he's 18lb lower than a year ago suggests he's very well handicapped. Persuasion has been racing in better company but hasn't done as well as expected after landing a Haydock Class 2 handicap last year. Origintrail was backed to complete a hat-trick at Newmarket after her victories at Ripon and Chester but couldn't quite get to Al Simmo, who has since completed a double at HQ. Ben Haslam's filly looks a real threat despite conceding 6lb to her older rival.
