Verdict

Know Your Limit extended a frustrating run of placed efforts when second once again at Sandown and steps up in trip. Tranquil Star was placed over 1m2f before an unconvincing attempt over today’s distance at Kempton but WAR BRIGADE wasn’t beaten far over 1m4f at Ascot last time when eight lengths clear of the rest. He has something to find at the weights but a winner has already come out of the Ascot race and David Simcock’s colt may prove good enough. Darksideoftarnside made a promising start when runner-up at Newcastle while prolific winning hurdler Aristo Du Plessis may prove best of the older horses.
